He drives me CRAZY!!!! I spend my day and nights thinking about what we could have been and what we can be. He says he feels the same, but is he telling me the truth? Or am I just some girl that's there for him to flirt with until his "real girl" comes along? Am I doing the same thing? Are we just friends with benefits? I think I love him, but, honestly, I don't know what love is. What is this feeling? Am I feeling desperate because I'm tired of being alone? Am I jealous of all of my friends who seem to be in very successful relationships? Regardless of the reason, I shall remain in prayer. I pray that God will send me the man of my dreams!!!

The Hoe and the Help

Do you know what sucks!!!! Any time you start a new job or move into a new place, you see this person who's totallly H-O-T.  The good news is that they work there!!! So, you call them for stupid things to help you with, you go out of your way to cross paths just so you can see them. You think about them constantly and you wonder if they're thinking about you, and suddenly......... there is another. Someone who makes their presence known and steps in and on the one thing you've been working on for days, weeks, months, what have you. The person that you've had you eye on falls into their trap. Immediately, you label the other as "The Hoe." Instead of crying and pouring into three pints of ice cream, you gossip, you try to forget, and you even look down on them and give them evil looks when you see them. You spend time telling yourself that one day they'll throw the hoe away like the garbage they are, but it seems like that moment will never come. The question is......what do you do when the moment presents itself? Do you let them come back with open arms? Do you suck you teeth and tell them to move on? Or do you drop the "f" word and tell them that you shall forever remain friends? Regardless of what you choose, be confident and stand behind your decision. You can even do a silent "nah nah na nah nah" when you run into the hoe. Just be classy and cool and remember that you have the power.

He is the one! She's been waiting for a long time. Everyday, she thinks to herself: "Does he even notice me?" The time has come. She has to know. She can wait no longer.
She spends extra time to make herself look pretty. An extra 30 minutes in the shower, 20 minutes making sure her hair is absoutely perfect, and 15 minutes to make sure that her make-up looks good. She tries to convince herself that she is pretty. She leaves her house in confidence. She says to herself "Today is the day!" She will go and "Get her man!" She waits all day in anticipation, for she knows what must be done. If she waits any longer, she will explode. It's killing her because she has to know. Will the two ever become one? There he is, standing across the way. She works up the courage to walk. Putting one foot in front of the other, moving briskly before she loses her nerve. It feels like a mile walk, but she must not stop. Only three feet away....... almost there. She stops. She has just learned that all of the mindless flirting and the extra time in the mornings was all in vain.  She can't believe her eyes. It pains her to look or even think about it. You see, as she walked toward him, she realized that she was not the only one headed his way. His he approached just before she could get her chance and right before she stopped, she witnessed the display of affection that he had with his he.
It is the one thing that you think you have once you receive it for graduation. Once you are enrolled, you quickly learn that you don't. Tuition, fees, books, etc. are here to remind you that if you have money now, you won't have it for long. God bless us, the ignorant, college bound children for we know not what lies ahead. It will be tough and tiring, but we can make it through. Thank you for guiding us along the way. For, without you we would be lost. Oh, and one more request: Could you please help us to run into some money?

Nothing

Nothing. What is the true meaning of the word? Is it possible to do absolutely nothing? I think not!!!!  Think about it, even if you're doing nothing, you're either sitting, standing, thinking, breathing, etc. Should the word "nothing" even exist if it's not possible to do? I think that the word is used simply because we are lazy and it is easier to just say "nothing."
